Summoning

You animate a suit of full plate armor and cause it to appear in an unoccupied space that you can see within range as a CR 1 Animated Armor under your control. This can either be a suit of armor that is equipped to you, or an unequipped suit of armor that you are carrying. If you choose armor that you are currently wearing, it disappears from your person once it is successfully animated.


If the Animated Armor drops to 0 hit points before the duration of the spell ends, then you can revive it as a Bonus Action on the subsequent turn. If you do not, then the spell ends. When the spell ends, if this was a suit of armor that was equipped to you before you animated it, it appears fully equipped on your person. Otherwise, it remains in an inert pile wherever it fell. If the Animated Armor is reduced to 0 hit points by a Disintegrate spell, the armor instead crumbles to dust.

The Animated Armor is friendly to you and your companions, and acts on your initiative. It will obey any verbal commands that you issue (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands, it will defend itself from hostile creatures, but otherwise take no actions.
