Beam of shadow's

You send a beam of shadow's piercing through a creature that you can see within range, causing it immense pain. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw. It takes 7d8 + 30 psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

 At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 7th.
