A spell crafted by a paladin of lolth, knowledge restricted to the city of spiders.

The next time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack during this spell’s duration, your weapon lashes out with strands of silk, and the attack deals an extra 1d8 bludgeoning damage to the target. Additionally, the target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained until the spell ends.

A creature restrained by this spell makes another Strength saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a successful save, it is no longer restrained.
