You select one creature you can see within 120 feet and inflict upon them a glimpse of the totality of their own future pain and suffering. All of life’s miseries, from minor inconveniences to heartbreak to soul-shredding agony are concentrated into one split-second burst, causing 8d6 psychic damage. A successful Intelligence saving throw reduces the damage by half.

At higher levels: When cast using a spell slot greater than 3rd level, the damage increases by 1d6 per spell slot above 3rd level. When cast using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, one additional creature can be affected.
