Each humanoid in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range hears your voice speaking from the chosen point.  They must make a Charisma saving throw to determine what they hear and how it affects them; a creature can choose to fail this saving throw if it wishes.

If a creature succeeds in its saving throw, it will hear a muffled, strangely distorted version of the caster's voice uttering garbled nonsense syllables.  They will find the rhythm and sound of the voice strangely soothing if they share both facets of their alignment with the caster; it will seem to recede into the background and not affect them at all if they share only one tenet of their alignment or if none of the points where their alignment differs involves one of the radical conflicts (good vs. evil in either facet; OR a character who is TRUE neutral (BOTH facets neutral) vs. a character where NEITHER facet is neutral(.  In the latter case, of course, they will find the caster's voice hauntingly disturbing and

If a creature fails its saving throw (whether deliberately or not), the caster's voice will appear to them to be speaking the language with which they are most familiar, and will seem to be speaking words that are the best calculated to inflame a certain emotion in the creature by whatever needs to be spoken with reference to a situation in that creature's past when they felt that emotion the hardest; whatever needs to be spoken, whispered, screamed, chanted, sung, cursed with all the fervor of Medea's vengeance or gazed with no sound at all, whatever it takes to resurrect and inflame those emotions to their highest pitch.  What the resulting effect is will depend on the emotion the caster tried to inflame, and whether the creature willingly failed the save or not.  Note that the spell does not presuppose the caster has previous knowledge of the creature's history, but includes a secondary divinationIf the caster is actually aware of an incident in the target's past involving the emotion they are trying to inflame, that target makes their save with disadvantage, and  is added to the d  the caster makes on the following table to determine the effect of the spell..

INFLAME EMOTIONS

  • 01 - 01: No result.  The spell is unable to focus in on this individual's life specifically enough to determine what incidents might be the most likely to stimulate strong emotion of the particular type desired
  • 02 - 02: Petty result.  The divination magic was able to identify an incident related to the emotion desired, but its' strength was little more than that of a minor irritant for anger, a petty little discomfort that is niggling just above the level where you could laugh and let it go\
  • Moderate result.  The divination magic was able to identify an incident related to the emotion desired, at about the level of the galling memory of schoolyard bullying meekly swallowed and never avenged
  • Strong result.  The divination magic was able to identify an incident related to the emotion desired,
  • Infuriating result.  The divination magic was able to identify an incident related to the emotion desired,
  • Berserker result.  The divination magic was able to identify an incident related to the emotion desired, .. oh boy, HAS it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Your spell has tapped into one of the defining unresolved primal chaos-storms of that particular emotion that can only be palely insulted by the complete inadequacy of these words to describe -- to the point that that very inadequacy is limp and impotent in comparison with the primordial ... um, the hot blazing of the Fire and equally intense cold blazing of the Ice that became the foundational Giants of Norse mythology?  The Secret Fire at the heart of J.R.R. Tolkien's cosmos?  The lust of Wrath in the heart of a jilted satyr and the Wrath of lust in a midWinter court redcap's eyes as she licks her lips and snicks the last cuffs home on the limp wrists and ankles of her latest ... toy ...?  So, ahm, IF you succeed in an immediate contest of INT + WIS with the target and therefore manage to avoid becoming the immediate focus of the victim's acting out whatever emotion you aroused in them at an intensity of mind-body-spirit-heart synchronization that give them all the benefits that being berserk grants to a     , modified to the appropriate emotion as detailed below
