Damage/Effect
You conjure a spear enhanced with eldritch magic and throw it at a target within range. The target takes 3d6 acid damage and is restrained, poisoned and prone. While under these conditions, the target also cannot talk or cast spells, and any metals on the target corrode, suffering a -2 to AC/attack rolls or a -5 to HP. The target must make a Con save or suffer the same effects on this turn, ending all effects on a success and causing the spear to vanish( the corrosion effect stacks until the item is no longer useful and is destroyed). If these effects would kill or destroy the target, the spear returns to the casters hand and can be thrown again as a bonus action. If not used, it vanishes.

Posted Jul 31, 2022i really like this spell, i like the way it returns, i love the debuffs it deals i think it wouldnt be out of place in any dnd games with a few changes
1. you should make this a ranged spell attack or give a saving throw on the first time it effects a target. currently, this is magic missile that takes the target's chance to do anything until they succeed on the secondary saving throws
2. this should be 6th level. this doesnt feel like something a level 9 caster should be able to do, and it's much more at home with other 6th level spell options
3. this should be concentration. as it is, this is a spell you should be casting at as many enemies as you can. with concentration, it would force the caster to make interesting decisions, and it would make the spell more well designed.
this is all my opinion, but i think youll agree
