Upon casting this spell, the caster must target a creature within range and cause them to perceive the time to be different than it actually is. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 14) or be affected by the spell. The illusion is that the time is the same as the time set on the pocket watch used as a material component.
While under the effect of the spell, the target will experience illusions that reinforce the false time, such as a morning sky if the pocket watch is set to the morning hour. Every minute, the target can make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 14) to break free from the spell.
If the target encounters something that contradicts the illusion, such as a trustworthy source telling them the correct time, the spell ends immediately.
