Once per turn, you send a 30ft chain that can either grapple with a contestent Str check verus athletics or deal 5d8 of damage to the creature that you hit with a weapon of proficiency. If the creature is prone you have advantage on the Str check or you deal an extra 2d8 ( meaning 7d8 ) to your attack. You can also reel in a creature with a action or bonus action getting the enemy to melee range. If the creature is 5ft close and you try and grapple them, you will have disadvantage.
