By bending the light around an object, you can make it nearly imperceptible despite sitting in plain sight. Select one object of the size Small or smaller that you can see within range and that is not being worn or carried (unless it is being worn or carried by you). Until your concentration ends, the object is shrouded in an illusory veil and is considered invisible.
A creature searching for the object can see through the illusion by making an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. On a success, the object is no longer invisible to that creature.
At Higher Levels. Casting this spell with a spell slot of 3rd or 4th level allows you to target a Medium or smaller object. Casting this spell at 5th level or higher allows you to target a Large or smaller object.
