Blood Lance

With a small cut of a palm and the wave of a hand ,the blood droplets coalesced in mid air to form a small lance made of blood, before firing out to the unsuspecting hobgoblin commander. On impact the blood entered smoothly into the commanders front steel breastplate, like water through soil before ripping out his back forming a larger lance of blood compared to what had entered, ready to strike the three more hobgoblins stunned after the horrific death of their commander.

• A lance of blood forming a line 70 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Constituiton saving throw. A creature takes 5d10 Piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. 
• After every successive target hit with the lance, the next target hit takes amplified damage of an additional 1 d10 piercing damage. This is added to the starting base damage for the next target hit. For example the 2nd target hit by a Blood Lance at 4th level will take 6d10 piercing damage on a failed constitution save or half as much on a successful save.
• For calculating the amplified damage simply add it to the amount already rolled, so if you rolled 25 for 5 d10 and is hitting the second target roll 1d10 to then add to the 25 originally rolled.
• At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot above 5th.
