Choose two creatures or objects within range as targets. The chosen targets must be within 40ft of each other upon casting. Upon casting, designate one of the targets to be considered an anchor for the purposes of this spell, and the other considered a target. If the designated anchor is an object, the target must be the same size or smaller than the anchor. The target must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC. A creature can choose to fail the save. If the target fails the save, they and the anchor are magnetically tethered for the duration.

When you cast this spell and as a bonus action on your subsequent turns, you can cause one of the following effects:

Attracted. The target is immediately pull by an unseen force in a straight line toward the anchor until they are within 5 feet of each other, or as close as possible, stopping in the nearest unoccupied space. Until the end of the target's next turn, moving within 40 feet of the anchor in any direction away from it is considered difficult terrain, while moving towards it costs half movement. You cannot use this effect if the target is more than 40 feet away from the anchor.

Repelled. The target is immediately pushed by an unseen force in a straight line away from the anchor until they are 40 feet away, or as far away as space allows, stopping in the nearest unoccupied space to the projected destination. Until the end of the target's next turn, moving within 40 feet of the anchor in any direction toward it is considered difficult terrain, while moving away costs half movement. You cannot use this effect if the target is more than 40 feet away from the anchor.

At the end of each of its turns, the designated target of the spell can make another Strength saving throw against your spell save DC, ending the spell on success.
