Ward of Retribution

Four floating daggers made of light encircle the target, harming those who attack it. While the spell is active, whenever the target takes damage from a melee attack or a ranged attack within 30 feet, one of the blades strikes back infallibly at the attacker, dealing 1d6 force damage and then disappearing. The spells automatically ends when the last dagger disappears. Multiple casts of this spell do not stack. At Higher Levels: If you expend a Spell Slot of 4rd level or higher, one additional dagger appears for every 2 levels above 2nd.
