You attempt to interrupt a creature in the process of making a weapon attack by disarming them. When a creature that you can see within range makes a weapon attack, it must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or the weapon they used for this attack is wrenched from the creatures grasp. The weapon flies in a straight line towards the caster before falling to the ground safely, stopping early if it impacts against a solid surface. If the object would strike a creature, that creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the object strikes the creature and stops moving. When the object strikes something, the object and what it strikes each take 1d4 bludgeoning damage.
Unarmed Strikes and Natural Weapons are not affected by this spell.
* - which you take when you see a creature within 60 feet of you making a weapon attack.
