No one knows who Boncali is or what the words "Pneumatic Tube" means, but this is quite the useful spell. Before casting, the caster must personally designate a place to serve as a vault by placing one or more fine gemstones (each at least 500gp value) in a location well known to the caster (such as a specific room, cave, or safe). Then, at a later time, the caster can cast this spell to transport a single container (bag, box, chest, etc.) no more than 8 cubic feet in size back to the vault. Upon completion of the spell, the container suddenly ascends and gradually disappears, making a loud "whooshing" noise (depending on conditions, audible out to 500 feet). The container reappears at the vault approximately 1 min later, and one of the gemstones disappears. All items must be placed in a container of some sort (wrapping in cloth is sufficient), and must contain the material component. Uncontained items will be lost randomly in the Astral Plane. If the spell is cast but no gems are present in the vault, the spell fails (uses spell slot, but container remains at origin).
Subsequent containers will appear on top of previous ones, gradually forming a pile on the floor of the vault. Fragile items may be broken, and other physical consequences of piling could occur. If there is no physical space left for the container to reappear in the vault, the first container without enough space (and each subsequent container) will be stuck randomly in the Astral Plane. Retrieval will be very difficult or impossible without some method to locate.
This spell may be cast once per day without penalty. Each subsequent casting within 24 hours has a 1% cumulative chance that the container will be lost in the Astral Plane.
