This spell summons a horde of magical, voracious worms underground. These worms weaken earth and stone, causing cave-ins, stone walls to collapse, and so forth.

For 3d10 rounds, stone in the effected area is permanently reduced to the consistency of packed earth, and packed earth or natural soil is rendered to the state of loose, tilled earth. Upon completion of their work, the worms disperse, joining the natural ecology as best they can. They pose no direct threat to any other life, eating nothing more than earth and rock.

The worms effect an area of 10 square feet. If cast on a wall it will cause the wall to collapse at the end of the duration of the spell. If cast on the ground, the area starts to slightly move and break apart as the worms eat the dirt. The effected area is considered difficult terrain while the worms are eating. Creatures that attempt to move on the effected area must make a successful DEX saving throw for each 5 feet they attempt to move. A creature who starts their turn in the effected area must immediately make a DEX save. On a failed save, the ground gives way and the creature falls into the earth for 30 feet (If there is less than 30 feet of earth under the creature, they fall through completely to whatever the next thing is under them). A falling creature is considered prone and will take 3d6 bludgeoning damage.

At higher levels, for every level higher the spell is cast the spell causes creatures to fall an additional 10 feet. This would increase the damage by 1d6 as well.
