Arcane Shield

Upon casting the spell, a translucent ovoid shield of magic pops into existence surrounding you. While the shield is active it grants you a damage threshold of 5. When you take damage that exceeds the damage threshold, the shield pops and the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the granted damage threshold of the shield increases by 4 for each slot.
