You hurl a small fireball at the  ground or a target. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 nonlethal fire damage and the target's space is filled with acrid black smoke which obscures a 5' cube of space. The smoke is cloying and magical, resisting wind, but dissipates on it's own in one round.
