You conjure a spectral angelic spirit to guard a willing creature you can see within range. (Within 60ft) The target gains a +2 bonus to its AC until the start of your next turn. Additionally, for the duration, if the target is hit by a weapon attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by your spellcasting ability modifier.

The damage reduction for this increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level, 11th level and 17th level. (Max of 3d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier)
