Reaching into the destructive chaos of the Great Conflagration, you draw forth a lash made from intense flames. The lash is similar in size and shape to a whip, and lasts for the duration. If you let go of the lash, it disappears. You can summon the lash once again as a bonus action until the spell ends.
You can use your action to make a melee spell attack, using the blazing lash, against one target within 10 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 3d4 fire damage.
The blazing lash sheds bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you may use your action to make one additional attack using the blazing lash for every two slot levels above 2nd.
