A near invisible flash of metal streaks toward a target within range. Your target must make a DEX saving throw.
On a failed save, the victim is struck with a small needle, which protrudes from the skin uncomfortably, and takes 1d4 piercing damage immediately. The needle can be recovered by Free Action with a free, unrestricted hand, or other equivalent utility. In context, GM may require a Bonus Action instead.
If the projectile is not removed by the end of the target's next turn, the needle dissolves and inflicts a subsequent 1d4 + Your Spellcasting Modifier acid damage at that time.
On a successful save, the needle entirely misses, and you are sad that you were thwarted so easily.
This spell’s initial damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
