Consume

Uttering the verbal component, "Consume," you target a creature within range and manipulate its mind, compelling it to attempt to consume an object or creature within range that you point at.

The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it becomes fixated on the specified target and will do anything in its power to consume it, regardless of any danger it may face in the process. The target creature will not respond to any commands or stimuli except those that aid it in its attempt to consume the specified target.

The creature will continue to attempt to consume the target until it is successful or the spell's duration ends. The specified target can be a creature or object weighing up to 500 pounds. If the target is a creature, it must be within two size categories of the target creature or smaller. If the target takes damage, it must make a Wisdom saving throw or continue to attempt consumption.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the range of the spell increases by 30 feet for each level above 6th. Additionally, the maximum weight of the specified target increases by 500 pounds for each level above 6th.
