Choose a point within range, originating from that point you create a temporary portal to the abyss and will a demon to strike out at creatures in front of the portal. All creatures in a 10 foot cone from the portal (you choose the facing of the portal) must make a dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 slashing damage, taking half as much on a successful save.

When cast using a 2nd level spell slot or higher this spell deals 1d6 additional damage for each slot above 1st.
