Choose a creature you can see in range, altering it's perception of time. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be affected by this spell. On a failed save, it relives the last round, repeating the same actions and decisions. This spell has no effect on undead. If the target is immune to the paralyzed condition, it automatically passes the save.
If the target moved in the last round, it attempts to repeat the movement, with the same direction and distance.
If the target used an action, it repeats the action to the best of it's ability. Some examples:
- If the creature made an attack in a direction, it will make the same attack, in the same direction
- If the creature cast a spell, it will cast the same spell in the same direction and distance (i.e. fireball 40 ft west, causes another fireball 40 ft west on the repeated turn)
- If the creature used any other action, it repeats that action to the best of it's ability
- If the creature used something that requires a recharge, or some other resource that it doesn't have on it's repeated turn, it tries and fails to replicate it's previous actions.
This spell also causes the creature to repeat it's legendary actions, if it has used any in the last round.
At the end of an affected creature's turn, it makes a Wisdom saving throw. If it succeeds, the spell ends.
