You create shards of metal engulfed in fire, flinging it to a point you choose within range and it then expands with a shriek into an eruption of flaming metal shrapnel. A blast of fire and metal shards forming a line up to 90 feet long and 5 feet wide erupts out. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 2d10 fire or slashing damage (or a combination thereof) on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Each creature in a 15-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 5d6 fire or slashing damage (or a combination thereof) on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The fire spreads around corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
