You point at a creature that you can see within range and shackle it with conjured chains both magical and metal. The target of the spell must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained by the chains until the spell ends.
While the spell is active, you can use your bonus action to tighten the chains and cause the creature to take 2d4 bludgeoning damage.
A creature restrained by the chains can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, it frees itself, the chains disappear and the spell ends.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage caused by the chains increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
