You attempt to tether a burst of Wild Magic. If a Wild Magic Surge or other similar magical effect is triggered within range you may use your reaction to cast this spell and try to redirect the magic. You must make a spellcasting ability check, of a DC equal to the Wild Magic Table roll divided by your Proficiency Bonus and the level this spell was cast at, on a success you are able to prevent the Wild Magic and instead tether the magic into yourself and regain spell slots of a combined level one less than the level this spell was cast at. On a failure the Wild Magic is prevented, but you do not regain any spell slots.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher you may increase the number used to determine the DC of the spellcasting ability check. Furthermore, you may regain one additional spell slot level on a success for every level above 2nd.
