Blood Divination is a powerful and versatile spell that allows the caster to glean information from a sample of blood. The success of the divination depends on the roll of a D20, with the caster's Arcana or Medicine modifier added. The results are as follows:

1-3: The subject's race only - The caster can determine the race of the individual whose blood they are touching. This could provide basic information about their ancestry or lineage.

4-10: The subject's race and gender - The caster can determine both the race and gender of the individual whose blood they are touching. This provides more specific information about the person's identity.

11-17: The subject's race, gender, and approximate age - The caster can determine the race, gender, and an approximate age range of the individual whose blood they are touching. This could help in narrowing down the potential identities of the person.

18-20: The subject's race, gender, age, and name - The caster can determine the race, gender, age, and name of the individual whose blood they are touching. This provides detailed information about the person's identity, including their name.

Natural 20: See the exact moment the blood was shed - In addition to the information gained from the previous results, the caster can also see the exact moment when the blood sample was shed. This could provide valuable insight into the circumstances surrounding the bloodshed and the events leading up to it.

It's important to note that the results are based on the initial roll and cannot be repeated on the same blood sample. If another player attempts to use Blood Divination on the same sample, the dice roll will remain the same, but they can use their own Arcana or Medicine modifier for the check. Blood Divination can be a useful tool for investigating crimes, tracking individuals, or uncovering hidden information in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.

You can use this spell to gain insight into the individual's identity, gather clues about their whereabouts, or uncover hidden information.
