You hide a chest, and all its contents, within Belphegor's domain within the Nine Hells. You must swallow the chest that serves as a material component for the spell; the magic of this spell will make it difficult, but possible to do so. The chest can contain up to 12 cubic feet of nonliving material (3 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet).

While the chest remains within the Nine Hells, you can use an action and reach into your stomach to retrieve or disgorge an item located in the chest. It appears in your hand or an unoccupied space on the ground within 5 feet of you. You can also use an action to swallow an item you wish to store in your chest. You must be able to swallow an item normally in order to store it in your secret chest. You cannot disgorge the chest itself once it has been swallowed.

After 60 days, there is a cumulative 5 percent chance per day that the spell’s effect ends. This effect ends if you cast this spell again or if you choose to end the spell as an action. If the spell ends, Belphegor may or may not deign to return your chest to you, should you try to recast the spell.

As a side effect of this spell, your stomach becomes linked to the realm of Gluttony that is Belphegor's Domain. Half of the food you eat will be sent to Belphegor, Lord of Gluttony, personally, as a form of tribute for keeping your chest safe, which redoubles your hunger. While this spell is active, your cost of living is doubled due to increased food costs, in addition to any other modifiers you are subject to, such as those resulting from Lipomancy. As a side perk, you can swallow and store an unlimited amount of food items in addition to your allotted space for non-food items. Any food item you store this way has a 5% chance of disappearing immediately, however. And after 24 hours, 50% of all food items stored outside of your secret chest will disappear.

This internal connection to Belphegor's domain works both ways. By expending a spell slot of at least 4th level, you can draw forth material from Belphegor's domain into your stomach. Usually, this will consist of acidic bile which then immediately explodes from your mouth in a 30-foot cone. Each creature caught in the deluge must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 8d6 Acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The chances of summoning acidic bile when casting this way is 80%

15% of the time when casting this way, however, your stomach will fill with Belphegor-flesh instead. Belphegor-flesh is a highly magical, fatty material that is as nutritious as it is diabolical in nature. You will fail to produce an attack and your weight will immediately increase by 8d6 x 10 pounds as the flabby material magically fuses into your body from the inside. Additionally, the neverending gluttony of Belphegor will touch upon your soul and you will be affected as if by a geas spell to devour any edible materials that you across for the next 24 hours. The effect of this spell cannot force you to commit cannibalism or a crime, although you may devour the carcasses of your enemies to attempt to sate your hunger. If you are starving when this effect occurs, you are no longer starving, and you will not be able to starve for the next in-game week.

5% of the time when casting this way, you will cough up a random treasure or creature Belphegor has stored away in his many folds and pouches. This can include creatures like imps which may or may not be hostile towards you.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
