Gwaihir, also known as Gwaihir the Windlord, is lord of the Great Eagles. You can get help from Gwaihir as a druid in very critical situations.By means of this spell, you use an animal to deliver a message. Choose a Tiny beast with the ability to fly you can see within range, such as A woodpecker, a sparrow or a bat. You also speak a message of up to twenty-five words. Your sentence should look something like this: We are fighting a vile dragon in the stone ice mountain. We need your help. The target beast travels for the duration of the spell toward the Gwaihir location.
When the messenger arrives, it delivers your message to Gwaihir, replicating the sound of your voice. If the messenger doesn't reach its destination before the spell ends, the message is lost, and the beast makes its way back to where you cast this spell.
You can only use this ability three times forever. Gwaihir must also believe that you are in a critical situation.
At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, Gwaihir comes to your aid with a group of Giant eagles.
