Conditional Protection

The target of the spell becomes encompassed in this powerful protective aura. Choose any damage type or creature type when casting this spell. You then touch a willing creature and give them protection from the chosen damage type or creature type for the duration. Until the spell ends, the following effects occur:

Damage:

• The effected creature gains immunity to the chosen damage type.
• Any time the effected creature is targeted by a spell that requires an attack roll, if that spell would deal the chosen damage type, it is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from the effected creature, turning the caster into the target.

Creature:

• Creatures of the chosen type have disadvantage on attack rolls targeting the effected creature.
• The effected creature has advantage on saving throws against being spells and other magical effects that originate from the chosen creature type.
