You shoot a continuous stream of lightning from your fingertips. Choose one creature you can see within range. The chosen creature must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC, they take 1d6 lightning damage on a failed save or half as much on a successfull one.
In addition, the targeted creature becomes connected to the stream of lighting until either the spell ends, the caster loses line of sight or the creature is out of range of the caster. While a creature is connected to the stream of lighting, at the start of their turn they must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. The creature takes 1d6 lightning damage on a failed save or half as much on a successfull one.
In addition, when a creature who is connected to the stream of lightning uses any movement (such as standing up or moving) they must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save their movment speed is halved until the end of their turn and they take 1d6 lightning damage. On a successfull save they take half as much damage and their movement speed is unaffected. This takes place right before the creature has used any movment.
