Touch a surface that is made of earthly material, like wood, dirt, stone, etc., this spell summons a blooming Willow Tree. The tree is 10ft tall and 5ft wide. If the tree doesn’t have the space to appear, the spell will fail. Once it appears, the tree’s trunk will open to reveal 3 shelves inside. These shelves are perfectly suited to maintaining any plant’s life inside the space for as long as needed.
Each shelf can hold 3 (9) small potted plants, 2 (6) medium potted plants, or 1 (3) large potted plant. This space can also hold and maintain the heat and freshness of any dish that is stored in it. A willing, non-hostile, creature that has the type “Plant” can survive in this space if all the shelves have been removed (creature takes up the space of 3 shelves).
The tree can then be dismissed early and re-summoned when the spell is cast again.
At Higher Levels: For every spell slot 3rd level or higher, this spell will produce 1 additional shelf to the inside of the tree. (Keep in mind, if 4 shelves are full and you summon the tree at its base level, only the 3 lowest shelves will appear. The remaining plants are safe, you will need to cast the spell at the spell slot you did previously to gain access to the remaining shelves and plants.)
