Arcane Riposte

When a large or smaller creature misses you with a melee weapon attack, you can magically deflect the attack back against that creature. Using your reaction, you catch your opponent's attack with your weapon in a magical parry that explosively reflects back the attacker's momentum in a blast of arcane energy. The creature must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 4d12 force damage and is pushed back 15 feet and falls prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not pushed or knocked prone.
