You call forth a benevolent Shikigami: a spirit to soothe the wounded. The intangible spirit appears in a space that is a 5-foot cube you can see within range. The spirit looks like a tiny fey humanoid of exotic beauty. Until the spell ends, the spirit will automatically take one of two actions effecting you or an allied creature you can see who moves through or shares the spirit's space.:

  • If an allied creature took hit-point damage from a non-allied source any time since the beginning of your last turn the spirit will heal that creature of 1d6 hit-points.
  •   An allied creature who has not been recently hurt will instead be granted 1d6 temporary hit-points.

A creature can benefit from this healing only once per turn, and the spirit can’t heal constructs or undead. As a bonus action on your turn, you can move the Spirit up to 30 feet to a space you can see.  Alternately, you can request the spirit follow an allied creature.  The spirit can move 30 feet, is unaffected by terrain or weather, and will try to remain within the 5 foot square of its charge.

At Higher Level: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the healing/temporary hitpoints increases 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
