You summon a powerful beacon of light in a 5,000-foot-tall cylinder with a 5-foot radius centered on a surface you can see within range. If the surface is moved more than 5 feet from where you cast this spell, the spell ends. The beacon sheds bright light in a 60-foot radius and dim light for an additional 60 feet. The beacon's light can be seen through total cover. When you cast the spell, choose any number of creature types. The beacon affects each creature type in one of the following ways:
Message: So long as creatures of the chosen type can see the beacon, you have a one-way telepathic connection to those creatures.
Damage: When a creature of the chosen type enters within 60 feet of the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it takes 2d6 Radiant damage. When a creature of the chosen type enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it takes 6d6 Radiant damage.
Blindness: Creatures of the chosen type while within 60 feet of the spell's area are blinded.
Repellant: Creatures of the chosen type that can see the beacon's light are compelled to run away from it and must do whatever it can to get away from the beacon.
Calling: Creatures of the chosen type that can see the beacon's light are compelled to move towards it and must do whatever it can to get at least 60 feet from the beacon.
You cannot apply more than one affect to one creature type and you cannot apply one affect to more than one creature type.
