You raise your hand towards a creature within range and clench your fist tightly, forcing it to make a Constitution saving throw. Oozes, water elementals and similar creatures (DM’s discretion) have disadvantage on their saving throw. On a failed save, a creature's blood or vital fluids bursts from its body. The target immediately gains a point of exhaustion and takes necrotic damage equal to four rolls of its largest Hit Dice, and then loses that many Hit Dice. If the target fails its saving throw by 5 or more, it instead gains two points of exhaustion, or three if it has no remaining Hit Dice. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and suffers no points of exhaustion.
Creatures that are devoid of blood or vital fluids, such as constructs and some undead, are immune to this spell.
