Blue-Lightning Shot

You aim with the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a ranged attack with it against one creature within the range of the weapon. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects, and you can cause a blue lightning to leap from the target to a different creature of your choice that you can see within 15 feet in a radius of it. The second creature takes 1d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier as lightning damage. If you have any Extra Attack feature, casting this spell cont as an attack action and replaces one of your attacks.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increase by 1d8 and you can target one additional creature to the lightning to leap into  for each slot level above 1st.
