Spells and inanimate objects that pass through the location gain 1d8 damage and change element type based on the d8 result table below. Living creatures that pass through the aperture take 3d8 damage of all elements rolled. If an inanimate object, living creature, or spell with mass passes through the aperture: the caster must make a saving throw using their spellcasting ability versus DC equal to its weight in kilograms. If the saving throw fails the spell ends once it has passed through.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 (and gains the element type based on the result), and the duration doubles for each spell slot above the 2nd.
