You shoot a ray of cold that freezes everything in its path. within 10 ft. of where you shot your spell is now difficult terrain, and everyone in that area must make a dexterity saving throw and take 3d8 cold damage (+1d8 for every spell slot level above 4th) on a fail and be restrained or take half as much damage and not be restrained on a successful one. being exposed to fire damage ends this condition. they can also end this condition with a successful strength check. This condition will automatically end after 1 hour as the ice thaws.
