Briars of Punishment

Attack your target with thorny blood-vines from below which quickly recede after striking your target. Your target takes 1d8 piercing damage on the first hit after which the enemy makes a dexterity saving throw DC 13. If the target fails their dexterity saving throw, they are hit again for 1d8 piercing damage and take an extra 1d10 necrotic damage at the end of their next turn as they suffer from an incredible loss of blood.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher it gains an additional 1d8 piercing damage damage on the first two hits and an additional 1d10 necrotic damage per level above 1st.
