This spell is a minor talent that novice spellcasters and ooze-based beings use for practice. You draw a dollop of ectoplasm from the Astral Plane or a willing ooze-based creature and create one of the following effects within range:

  • You form the glob into a crystal that can create an instantaneous, harmless sensory effect, such as a puff of wind, faint musical notes, or an odd odor. The effect is centered on the crystal and can be placed on a loop or release the effect once at the will of the holder (caster if not being held) before the spell ends.
  • You shape the glob into a small glass-like nonmagical trinket or item that can fit in your hand.
  • You can change the consistency of the glob from viscous and fluid-like to thick and rubber-like. It can be molded into a shape with similar abilities to Silly Putty (bounces, can imprint ink & textures, elastic, etc).
  • You cause the glob to glow in any color of light you wish, producing as much light as a single candle. You can use a bonus action to change the color(s) of the light. You can optionally reform the goop as a crystal at creation.
  • You use the goop to bind two small objects together for1 day or until they are pulled apart by a DC 5 Strength (Athletics) check.
  • You cover a small object in the goop, giving it a lustrous sheen and making it appear new.

Unless otherwise stated, all effects last for 1 hour or until the spell is dismissed - whichever happens first. The magical goop returns to its goopy-form before disintegrating when the spell ends.

If you use this talent multiple times, you can have up to three of its effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
