Carnivorous Plant

At your command, a massive carnivorous plant erupts from the earth at a point of your choosing. The plant is a large creature that takes its initiative directly after yours, and obeys any command you give it as a bonus action on your turn. If not commanded, the plant does nothing. It falls under the Plant category of creatures, has 30 hit points and an AC of 12. Its movement speed is 0. It has a Strength score of 18, a Dexterity score of 6, a Constitution score of 12, a Wisdom score of 10, an Intelligence score of 1, and a Charisma score of 6. It makes one attack on its turn, which has an attack modifier equal to your spell attack modifier. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 piercing damage, and if it is a medium or smaller creature it is swallowed by the plant, and the plant cannot attack any more targets. The swallowed target is Blinded and Restrained. It has total cover against attacks and effects originating from outside the plant, and receives 1d10 acid damage at the end of each of the plant's turns. To escape the plant, the target creature must use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, the target exits within 5 feet of the plant, and the plant dies. If the plant dies with a creature inside of it, the swallowed creature is no longer restrained and may use 5 feet of movement to escape the plant, exiting prone.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the plant has an additional 10 hit points for every spell slot level above 2nd. The plant also has a +1 to hit for very spell slot level above 2nd.
