Damage/Effect

You reach out and create a transparent wall of pure Abjuration energy. When you cast a spell you choose one of the sides of the wall to have the protective effects and the other side does not. The wall can be 30 ft long and 20 ft high or you can form into a 10 ft radius hemispherical dome or sphere.

Additionally, any creature that attempts to move through the wall must make a strength saving throw or take 3d12 Force damage and be pushed back 10 ft, on a successful save the creature only takes half the damage and is not knocked back, also all weapon attacks and spell attacks have disadvantage when targeting a creature on the inside of the sphere or on the other side of the wall. If a creature attempts to cast a spell that would require a creature on the other side of the wall to make a saving throw the creature who cast spell must make a wisdom saving throw or the spell is lost and the slot expended.

Additionally, if a spell has an area of effect that's cast outside of the wall the creatures on the other side of the wall have advantage on their saving throws against the spell.
