When you cast this spell your abilities to cast spells become refreshed. Due to the nature of magic this cannot be a perfect process. When you cast this spell you replenish a spell slot equal to or up to a combined 8 spell slot levels. Spell slots gained in this way cannot exceed level 4. You can gain 2 level 4 spell slots or 2 level 3s and a level 2 as an example.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell at level 6 or higher this spell restores a total number of spell slot equal to up to an additional 1 level of spell slots for each spell slot above level 5. Additionally you can replenish a maximum spell slot level 1 higher for each spell slot above level 5. So as an example upcast with a level 6 spell slot you can regain a total number of spell slots equal to 9 and up to level 5 spells.
