A flock of skeletal or spectral birds appear centered on a point within range. The number of birds summoned is dependent on the species summoned (Purely stylistic. Does not effect spell effects). Any creature that starts or ends their turn in the area of the spell are harried by the undead buzzards, and must succeed on a dexterity saving throw equal to the caster's spell save DC, or take 2d6 piercing and 2d6 necrotic damage.
Dead or unconscious creatures automatically fail this save, and are trapped within the spell's area of effect for 3 rounds, all remaining flesh is removed from their body, leaving only a skeleton.
The caster may use a bonus action to move the flock up to 30ft in any direction.
At Higher Levels: Using any spell slot above 3rd level increases damage by 1d6 to either the necrotic or piercing damage dies of this spell. You may flavor this as extra undead birds being summoned into the flock, murder, swarm, etc.
