Force

A harsh white light shoots from your fingers to a target you can see within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 10d10 force damage and must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target suffers the following effects: 

  • The target falls prone.
  • The target takes 2d6 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns for the duration. This damage cannot be reduced in any way. 
  • The target has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks and saving throws for the duration. 

The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of its turns, ending the effects on a success. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the target takes an additional 2d10 force damage for every spell level above 6th. The target also takes an addition 1d6 necrotic damage at the start of each of its turns on a failed save, for each spell level about 6th.
