You summon a ring of blazing swords that grants you 3d8 + your spellcasting abilitiy modifier temporary hit points until the end of your next turn.
Once before the spell ends, you can use a bonus action to send a flurry of 6 swords from any point in your space to a point within 30 ft. of yourself. Doing so Consumes any temporary hit points the spell granted. Each sword travels along a line from you to the point that is 1 ft. wide. When these swords hit a creature or object, make a melee spell attack against this target, dealing 1d6 fire damage + 1d6 slashing damage to the target.
At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a slot of 4th level or higher, you gain an additional 1d8 temporary hit points per level above the 3rd, and you can affect 1 ally within 30 ft. of yourself. An ally you chose gains half as many temporary hit points as you did, which end at the end of their next turn. When an ally's temporary hit points from this spell dissapear, a sword flies towards the nearest hostile target within 30 ft. of that ally, using your melee spell attack modifier, not the ally's, with the same damage.
