Choose one creature within range and roll a Performance check. If the roll exceeds 18 or the caster loves their target, the caster successfully plays an enchanted song written in remembrance of Willdi's soul mate Adrie. If the spell was successful, it crescendos with the following effects taking place:
- The area within range (a sphere of a 25ft radius) takes on an enchanting appearance, bathing everything in soft, shimmering pastel lights.
- The pan flute begins to float and seemingly play itself. Its true player can be seen by the target of the spell as the spirit shape of a half-elf woman.
- All creatures in earshot of the song with Wisdom exceeding 10 must make a Wisdom saving throw against a DC 18. Upon a failed save or not meeting the minimum Wisdom, their eyes will involuntarily begin spilling tears so long as they are physically capable of doing so without passing out. If the DM so chooses, all creatures burst into tears regardless of Wisdom.
- The target, if afflicted with any curse or magical ailment, curable or not, loses consciousness. The affliction then emerges from their body as a beast of the DM's design, its stats and abilities varying by severity. The beast must be defeated within the spell's duration, or it will return to its host with no hope of being forced out by the spell again.
In addition to all this, if the spell was successfully cast based on the caster's love for their target, all allies in earshot gain advantage on attack rolls for the duration of the spell. All effects cease if the caster's song is interrupted, and the affliction will return to its host as if it hadn't been beaten in time.
