Calamity: Requiem

As Humans discovered ancient magic, which they have called Calamity magic, they tried to create their own. Many attempts to create such powerful magic were made, but also a lot of lifes were lost. In the end, after losing countless lifes, the wizards stopped their efforts, thinking they aren't powerful enough to recreate this power.

After decades of no tries, one young wizard stumbled upon the arcane records of the previous efforts. He studied them, day through night, experimented with different solutions, yet he also failed in the end. After a decade of trial and error, he came across necromancy and necrotic magic. By chance he remembered his old efforts and tried again, but this time successfull.

By harnessing the power of the just fallen and deceased, he created his own Calamity spell and called it Requiem of the fallen souls.

Before his own death however, he sealed the knowledge in his future tomb. Hidden within the wrighting of his last will, is the location, where the ancien tablet can be found.

This is the story attached to the stone tablet, housing the Requiem inside.
