Benevolent magic hastens the natural restorative process.
A willing creature of your choice that has at least 1 hitpoint can spend one (1) of their Hit Dice to restore the value rolled plus their Constitution modifier. (To a minimum of 0.)
An affected creature can elect to spend less or none of the permitted Hit Dice. The creature still gains hitpoints equal to their Constitution modifier (To a minimum of 0.)
A creature can benefit from this spell only once per short rest, unless the willing creature accepts one point of exhaustion on a recasting.
This spell has no effect on undead or constructs.
The number of Hit Dice that can be expended and restored is increased by 1 when the caster reaches 5th level (2), 11th level (3), and 17th level (4).
